Johannes Eder

Der Bariton Johannes Eder studiert Gesang im Master an der Hochschule für Musik und Theater München bei Prof. Andreas Schmidt. Zuvor absolvierte er sein Bachelorstudium bei Daniela Sindram (HMTM) sowie Peter Edelmann an der Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien.
Opernengagements führten ihn u. a. als Don Giovanni, Graf Almaviva (Le nozze di Figaro, Cuvilliès-Theater), Guglielmo (Così fan tutte) und Aeneas (Dido and Aeneas) auf die Bühne. Zudem war er als Bariton-Solist in der Uraufführung von VOCI von Chin-Hsien Chung am Staatstheater Kassel beteiligt.
Im Konzertfach sang er Werke von Bach, Fauré und Orff (Carmina Burana) sowie Liedzyklen von Beethoven, Schumann.
Er ist Preisträger des Aria d’Oro Wettbewerbs Meran 2025.

The Baritone Johannes Eder is currently studying voice at master’s level at the University of Music and Theatre Munich with Prof. Andreas Schmidt. He previously completed his bachelor’s degree with Daniela Sindram (HMTM) as well as Peter Edelmann at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna.

His operatic engagements have included roles such as Don Giovanni, Count Almaviva (Le nozze di Figaro, Cuvilliés Theatre), Guglielmo (Così fan tutte), and Aeneas (Dido and Aeneas). In addition, he appeared as a baritone soloist in the world premiere of VOCI by Chin-Hsien Chung at the Staatstheater Kassel.

In the concert repertoire, he has performed works by Bach, Fauré, and Orff (Carmina Burana), as well as song cycles by Beethoven and Schumann.

He is a prize winner of the Aria d’Oro Competition Merano 2025.
